Ok so three days until i depart for Thailand...its my first time in that part of the world so I'm super excited. Can't wait to fill my belly with aromatic sticky rice...yummy :o)

I doubt I'll have much time to go on the internet but hopefully I'll be able to keep those of you interested updated as often as I can.

To make my departure that little bit more exciting (which is in the true nature of arlette's history of travelling) my nurse decided to advise me that I would not be needing a rabies vaccination. I found out today, however, that I will be feeding monkeys. Glenn warned me that they like biting so panick ensued but I managed to get an appointment arranged for tomorrow to get a last minute super dosage of the vaccine (thanks dad ;o)...)...So fingers crossed and hopefully i will be safe and sound in the foreign lands this time next week.
